Task & result of the planning

In the new extension to the house, a new practical, modern and familiar kitchen with plenty of storage space was to be created. Its occupants: a family of 5 with a dog. The generous open space was to become a living landscape with kitchen, dining room and lounge area.

Y-line was perfect for this, as it was possible to create a warm, discreet contrast between the front and the worktop with a different coloured backer strip in marcato oak. The pleasant wood colour is used throughout for further accents and harmonises so well with the hard-wearing and therefore family-friendly material Organic Glass in Stratus Grey. A practical breakfast area was created with the help of pocket doors, these can soon make everything disappear behind the front, as additional work surface and storage space are hidden behind the front. Intelligent Planero pull-outs made it possible to fulfil the family's desire for sufficient and well-structured storage space. A generous island with 700 mm deep drawers on the hob side provided plenty of storage and an excellent surface for food preparation, as well as comfortable seating for breakfast and family life.
